My husband and I feel very fortunate to have been exposed from youth to those things which have remained strong interests in our lives.

My husband was in his fathers business of large transport trucks and automobiles as a very young boy. He gained advanced knowledge of all methods of fabrication and mechanics. Later, having his own business allowed him to branch into building and racing top fuel dragsters during their infancy on the race circuit.

Then came an added interest to his original business. He began to collect, restore and sell antique and vintage automobiles which eventually became a business in its self which he retained when he sold the original business and property.

I held technical positions in Aerospace and manufacturing companies for some years after which I returned to college where I fulfilled one of my lifelong desires as a graduate nurse..

As a child my mother and grandmother shaped my understanding and appreciation for beautiful old glass, antique linens, fabric and furniture. In my grandmothers home I was accustomed to armoires, iron and brass beds and built in side boards in dinning room and kitchen cupboards.

During a brief stay in Arizona I met a dear elderly shop owner who mentored me in the selling at antique shows. Here was this dear colorful lady filling that void of my mother and grandmother. We did shows together and went to the most wonderful sales. I had always frequented antique shops and purchased items for myself but now I did not need to limit myself ,because of overcrowding, and I could buy and buy and buy because I could also sell and sell and sell which I did.

My husband and I have done antique shows and sales together for the past seventeen years as often as time away from his business permits. We appreciate many styles and periods of European and American décor. We especially are drawn to French furniture with the beautiful lines and curves but our own décor is of an eclectic nature with much lighting.

We live high on the top of a range of foot hills outside of Los Angeles, Ca. Our schedules are busy but because of the weather around Southern California we are able to enjoy some time in our court yard with our dogs and cat. Our court yard is loaded with flowers, old garden items and appropriately placed are two dwarf baring citrus. One lemon and one orange. Nature is such a wonderful thing.
